Wild Space
Come back to you
Take a deep dive into wild nature and come back to yourself over three transformative days.
Disconnect from technology and everyday demands.
Rebuild resilience in the face of challenges and overwhelm.
Reset your body and mind to feel vibrant, clear, and grounded.
This retreat is a unique opportunity to let go of habitual patterns and reconnect with nature, your breath, and your inner wisdom. You’ll leave feeling renewed, with clarity and perspective to guide your life, work, and relationships.
Over three days, you will be gently guided to let go of habitual ways of being and thinking as you unfurl into a deeper connection with nature and yourself. Our aim is for you to fully open to the power of your inner knowing to bring new perspective and clarity to your life, work and relationships.
These retreats are specifically designed for you if:
You are used to working at a high level and have significant responsibilities.
Whilst you are highly competent, the load of responsibilities and decisions can be overwhelming, as can managing uncertainty, complexity and diversity.
You recognise that your intellect can only take you so far and that being present, centred and grounded is essential for you to be a better leader, manager, parent or partner.
There may be patterns of overdoing and you can find it hard to switch off - perhaps due to perfectionism, the need to be in control, or people-pleasing.
You are not new to inner work - realising that these patterns require self-reflection and that self-worth doesn’t stem from outer achievements.
You prioritise being fulfilled, authentic and on purpose and this has become more important than climbing the career ladder.
Whether it scares you or delights you, you are open to the challenge of being immersed in nature, stripping away home comforts, technology, and routine - to come back to who you are and prioritise what matters to you.
What to expect
A small group experience (max 7) over two nights/three days. The retreat is located in an off-grid, woodland valley between Bath and Cheltenham.
It is carefully structured to facilitate your connection to nature through silence, fasting, conscious breathwork, sauna, and foraging. You will also let go of technology, smartphones, clock time, daily habits and routines and the comfort of the known. In a short time, your body and mind will replenish and reset.
Apart from the sheer power of the natural surroundings, elements that will enable you to fully experience stillness and connection include:
Professional therapeutic and coaching support: From both Sarah and Sandy, as you need it (which you may not) as you let go deeply. We are both coaches and therapists and support can be either to help you think bigger, connect more deeply or release emotionally.
Breathwork: The technique I use supports you to let go, connect with your body and awaken your senses. It may also evoke emotional release - if you are open to this - which can be a necessary part of letting go.
Fasting: To enhance the connection with nature and the natural rhythm of the body, you are encouraged to take part in a 36-hour fast. This will allow the systems within your body to rest fully which supports healing, regeneration and heightened awareness.
Silence: To create space for deep self-connection.
Foraging: Explore the woodland and learn about edible and medicinal plants.
Sauna and cold plunge: Relaxation and rejuvenation in a wood-fired sauna overlooking the forest.
Lake swimming : A serene 20-minute woodland walk leads to a beautiful lake.
Massage (extra cost): An onsite masseur specialising in holistic and myofascial release massage is available for bookings.

Facilitators
A defining feature of this retreat is how it is lead.
Whilst we are both experienced in somatic trauma therapy, coaching and psychotherapy, we believe that the most powerful way to support clients is to be as hands off as possible and facilitate spaces where they can connect to their own source of wisdom and power. In these retreats, we hold a gentle but powerful space for you to do just that and are available for you on a 1:1 basis if you need support.

Testimonials
I have been running rewilding and nature retreats for many years and never cease to be amazed by the transformative effect that deep nature immersion on this scale has on participants.
“A truly special retreat. I left feeling lighter and somehow very different…but I can’t put that into words yet! I would recommend it to anyone who wants to reconnect with themselves.”
“By the end of the retreat, I felt a quiet and joyful aliveness, a reconnection to myself and the wisdom of nature.”
“It was a joy to be outdoors without any clock-time or distractions. The pacing of the retreat was just right. It took me a little while to wind down from my usual busy life, but the real change for me came after the retreat. I have been feeling more open, more aware, and more creative since.”
“Living immersed in nature, disconnected from clocktime opened a way for me to drop - almost effortlessly - into a different way of being that felt rich and transformational in a profound way.”

Fasting is highly recommended because of the detoxifying and clearing effects it has on the body and mind.
However, in some circumstances it is not suitable, such as for diabetics and in pregnancy. We are not medical professionals and you will need to consult a doctor if you have any health concerns regarding fasting.
Please get in touch if you have any questions or if you decide not to fast. You may need to bring extra snacks or want a more substantial meal.
It is normal to find fasting daunting, if you are not used to it. Most people find it is easier than they think and that the benefits outweigh any discomfort from feeling hungry.

This is quite a common question.
We don’t tell you what you can and can’t do.
Reading a book can be another way to distract ourselves from being present. Reading may also help soothe you if you find silence too difficult. There’s no judgement.
In general, we encourage activities that bring you into presence with your surroundings and yourself, such as walking, sauna, foraging and lake swimming.
